Vanserg Building

During summer 2017, the second floor classrooms in the Vanserg Building were completely transformed from small, cramped seminar and lecture rooms into larger, flexible classrooms that are more conducive to the teaching and learning needs in the FAS. All rooms contain lightweight, movable chairs with large work surfaces allowing instructors and students to quickly reconfigure the room to support a variety of learning activities. Two new additions to the area are a small 8-10 person meeting room and a central common space where students and faculty can meet either before or after class. All classroom technology is up-to-date and simple to use.

During the academic year, Vanserg classrooms are scheduled by the FAS Registrar’s Office through EMS and are thus available to any FAS faculty member. The rooms are also available to book through the FAS Roombook system.
