Boylston Hall

Recent renovations at Boylston Hall focused on enhancing classrooms 103, 104, and 105, as well as Fong Auditorium. The furniture in Ticknor Lounge, located on the first and mezzanine floors, was re-upholstered, and significant upgrades were made throughout the building, including the installation of a new elevator and HVAC system.

In classrooms 103, 104, and 105, the goal was to provide instructors with greater flexibility and improved ease of navigation. Movable tablet armchairs enable students to quickly rearrange the room for a variety of group activities, while additional writing surfaces were added for both instructors and students. All audiovisual equipment was upgraded, and the spaces received new acoustical wall treatments, lighting, motorized shades, carpeting, and furniture. In Room 105, the teaching wall and projector were repositioned to the short wall, ensuring that the wide whiteboard remains unobstructed when the projection screen is in use.
